The big day finally arrived when we went to the dealership. Alvaro, I believe, informed us that the “lucesita†(the warning light) was fixed and that you had also filled up our tank. As we left with excitement, we didn't realize that the tank was only half full, and the warning light was obviously off .
However, as we were approaching the Cherry Swapt Meet, the light triggered back on and refused to go off. I tried to follow up with the dealership to get some information, but no one responded.
Weeks passed, and the light continued to stay on. I finally returned to the dealership to get a charger I didn't receive the day of the sale, and when I approached Alvaro, I questioned him again about the warning light, and he was thoughtful and informed me that it was just the TMPS sensor.
I honestly know how TMPS sensors work and how they are displayed in many automotive manufacturers. The weirdest thing is how they still continue to offer you extended warranty for another 3k
My take on it. I believe your service repair associates simply used an OBD scanner and erased the code for the meantime.
Now I have a problem I need to fix after buying a car that was out of your lot less than 35 minutes. At least our 96 Ford car didn't have any troubleshooting lights, but this 2023 vehicle already started giving hiccups.
